We believe that Adult Discipleship is job number one of a congregation. When the adults are growing in God's Word, they will see a need for all other areas of ministry.
Bible instruction is provided and encouraged for the adults and young adults of the congregation. Please join us at one of the sessions listed below. Please contact one of the pastors or the Bible class leader if you have any questions.
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class: Sundays at 9:15- 10:15 am starting September 18th and going to October 30th (no study on October 9th). Our Bible study will be What's the Point? The application of Jesus' parables (6 weeks). Everyone loves a good story...as long as it has a point. Reading the Gospels quickly brings to our attention one of Jesus' favorite teaching methods--parables. This study looks to help the student develop an understanding of what to look for in Jesus' parables. Jesus taught these parables not to entertain, but to connect people to practical truths for their life of faith. Join us as we discover the point to Jesus' favorite method of teaching. Pastor Headrick will lead this study in the School Fellowship Hall. Updated 8/31/16

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class: January 15 to March 5, 2017. The word synod means to walk together. However, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod is not walking together with many other church bodies in our society. Why? Aren't we all Christian? Aren't we all working toward the same goal? Why aren't we at least walking together with other church bodies that call themselves Lutheran? Church fellowship can be a hard teaching for us to understand and an even harder teaching fo rus to put into practice. This study's goal is to teach the scriptural truths about the doctrine of church fellowship. It aims to help students see that our practice of church fellowship is not because we are WELS, but because God makes church fellowship clear in his Word. Another goal is to promote our willingness and ability to make practical applicatoin of this doctrine in our lives and in the life of the church. Pastor Headrick will lead this study in the School Fellowship Hall. Updated 9/14/16

Mysterious Marriage (5 Weeks): January 29 to February 26- Have you heard someone say, "Marriage shouldn't be this hard?" Who says so? An aspiring pro baseball player would never say, "Hitting a fastball shouldn't be so hard!" An aspiring novelist wouldn't say, "It shouldn't be so hard to create compelling characters." So why is marriage so hard? Here's God's own answer, "Marriage is a profound mystery." In Ephesians 5:32 Paul calls marriage literally, a "mega-mystery." The word mystery seems to imply it can't be solved, but there is an answer and it's entirely possible to know it. God had in mind the gospel of Jesus, when he designed marriage. Then he used marriage to teach the gospel. The gospel is this: you are more sinful and flawed than you ever knew and yet in Jesus you are more loved by God than you ever dreamed. The truth about marriage is this: you and your spouse are not compatible. But you are forgiven and received by Jesus to forgive and keep each other. The gospel gives you the power to be married. Marriage gives you a way to show the gospel. In fact, your marriage will only work to the degree that you appreciate and follow the pattern of God's selfess love in Christ. Pastor Gary Pufahl will lead this course. This course is limited to the first 12 couples. Register today! This study will be held in the Upper Room at church (Old Church). Updated 9/14/16
